Arta Gallery’s Volunteer program offers a unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience in the operations of a commercial art gallery, providing insights into curatorial and gallery professions that are not commonly accessible through traditional academic channels. By adopting a hands‑on approach, the program aims to offer a comprehensive learning experience for volunteers with an interest in visual culture, art, sales and design. As a volunteer, you will have the chance to assist with various tasks, including setting up installations, data entry, working with artists, cataloging artworks, managing the permanent collection, and ensuring the gallery’s upkeep.
