JOB DESCRIPTION Essential Duties & Responsibilities Performs a combination of duties in accordance with departmental guidelines:
Leads the development and execution of the risk managed primary casualty underwriting strategy for National Accounts in Canada, including large and complex risks and acts as an escalation point for National Accounts Casualty underwriting decisions
Implements and directs strategic objectives, underwriting strategies and best practices with substantial impact on the short-term and long-term success of the risk managed casualty business across Canada and acts as the primary Canadian escalation point for National Accounts Casualty underwriting decisions
Owns portfolio outcomes (profitability, growth, and mix), including active portfolio repositioning from an excess-heavy book to a balanced primary-led National Accounts offering.
