About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join one of our team at Mercia Park, Swadlincote. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling various tasks within the warehouse, ensuring warehouse tasks are carried out efficiently whilst following all H&S procedures
Responsibilities
- To be accountable for own and others health and safety whilst at work, operating in line with SSOW (safe systems of work) and company procedures to enable a safe working environment
- To raise any unsafe acts seen immediately with individual(s) concerned and immediate reporting of health and safety incidents to management
- Achieve set productivity and performance targets ensuring consistent quality standards are met
- Using hand held terminals and printers to conduct warehouse tasks
- Carrying out daily warehouse activities using MHE to receive, putaway, pick and load pallets of stock for customer orders
