Main Purpose of Post:
- Ensure an efficient and effective delivery of the recycling and waste service to the stakeholders that meets the Councils and the Governments performance criteria including continuous improvement.
- To work as part of a team of recycling & waste operatives in the collection of domestic, trade /recycling on designated rounds. To be responsible for a recycling and waste collection vehicle and undertake all driving activities relating to that vehicle.
- To provide the first point of contact to the public in the promotion of recycling, providing guidance and assistance to maximise recycling collected from the householders and traders.
