Water Meter Compliance / Backflow Prevention Supervisor Under the direction of the Manager of Public Works, the Water Meter Compliance / Backflow Prevention Supervisor is responsible for the maintenance, replacement and operation of the City’s water metering infrastructure. Additionally, this position will initiate the implementation and maintain oversight of the municipal Backflow Prevention Program.
Hours of work include Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
Duties & Responsibilities
Direct, supervise and lead the Water Meter section of the Public Works division including assigning tasks, reviewing completed work, providing guidance and support to field staff.
Respond to customer complaints and inquiries including low pressure and meter related inquiries.
Update and maintain City metering standards as required.
Ensure water meter records are accurate.
Develop and implement an ICI UME replacement strategy.
