The purpose of a Support Assistant is to provide personal care and general support to adults with learning disabilities, physiological disorders and acquired brain injuries.

Role Details: Service is to promote dignity, independence and respect whilst providing high quality and competitive residential and day care for adults aged 18 and over. You will need to provide general support and personal to these service users which may also include physical tasks, washing, dressing, bathing and feeding clients, including those with special needs arising from physical or psychological deterioration. Social duties include talking to and motivating clients, helping clients to maintain contact with family and the community, assisting with shopping, and organising group social activities.
