Weight Bom Analyst (Guadalajara)

ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will lead bill of materials validation to improve the fidelity of weight status roll‐ups in automotive product development.You will be responsible for generating weight BOMs regularly and conducting thorough analysis to identify issues impacting weight accounting integrity, collaborating with cross‐functional teams to ensure accuracy.Downloading BOMs from corporate systems followed by detailed analysis and weight tracking to maintain data integrity.Setting up and facilitating meetings with design teams to review their parts and weights, confirming content and status.Working with Weight Team Leads to provide regular weight status updates to the extended team and supporting the development of weight reduction opportunities.Coordinating component weighing activities at suppliers and assembly plants to ensure accurate measurements.Assisting with the validation of prototype vehicle weights by comparing them to virtual BOM roll‐ups to identify discrepanci...
