Start Date: Immediate
Role: Welder
Location: Parham, Suffolk
Hours: Monday‑Friday 07:00‑16:30 (basic 40‑hour week)
Contract: Permanent position subject to a 3‑month probation
Pay Rate: £15ph+ (competitive, negotiable up to ~£16 per hour depending on experience)
Duties
- MIG welding of mild & stainless steel, 1.5mm–10mm thick
- Welding a variety of products
- Basic welder–fabricator work (jigs, fixtures, drilling) as sub‑contracted orders are pre‑cut and vary by job
Candidate Requirements
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Proficient in hand and power tools
- Experience in MIG welding
- TIG welding desirable but not essential
- Diploma / NVQ or apprenticeship in Welding / Fabrication
