Welding Quality Superintendent

Position Overview

As a Superintendent you will oversee field operations, manage foremen and laborers, schedule work, control costs, ensure compliance with drawings and specifications, and maintain relationships with clients, designers, suppliers, subcontractors, and site staff.

Location

Primarily in the Edmonton, AB region; assignments may be anywhere in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Review NDE results and ensure any repairs or indications are reviewed with the welder.
• Host welding monthly meetings as required by the project and playbook.
• Allocate welders to welds based on their skill set, qualifications, and tickets.
• Train welders as required, including post‑repair coaching and support.
• Help manage and attend welder qualification testing.
• Order welding consumables, including rod, TIG torch parts, and other required materials.
