Whey Training Facilitator

Job Summary

Provides training support to Southwest Cheese Site management through interviewing and testing new hires, new hire orientation, certification of employees, support for plant management and human resources, identifying and implementing process optimization projects, training new hires and internal movements, and writing and updating SOP.

Essential Functions

Responsible for initial interviews and testing (if required) of potential candidates.

Model Southwest Cheese values, policies, and procedures.

Oversee new hire orientation, including informing them of safety and quality regulations.

Train new and recently promoted employees in various areas as necessary.

Oversee certifications for forklifts and other manufacturing equipment.

Conduct audits to ensure employees perform tasks according to standards operating procedures (SOP).
