Winchester Security Officer

We are looking for a professional SIA Security Officer to join our Winchester-based team as part of the Winchester BID Rangers, working as part of a dedicated team focused on reducing low‑level crime and antisocial behaviour in the area.

Duties

Supervise day to day operations to ensure work is carried out effectively, safely and in line with company policies and procedures.

Provide a visible, alert and smart security presence within Winchester City Centre.

Undertake routine foot patrols.

Respond to and manage incidents efficiently and effectively.

Utilise dedicated technology, including body‑worn CCTV, radios, mobile apps, and digital monitoring systems.

Maintain effective communication with the project supervisor ensuring that issues are raised and dealt with promptly and effectively.

Promote a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture, ensuring procedures are followed and risks are reported and managed.
