Wireless Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct wireless network surveys using Ekahau Site Survey and other Wi-Fi analysis tools to assess coverage, capacity, and performance.
• Design and optimize Wi-Fi networks (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax) for enterprise, industrial, or campus environments.
• Create detailed heatmaps, coverage reports, and predictive RF designs using Ekahau Pro.
• Perform pre-deployment and post-deployment wireless assessments , ensuring signal strength, channel utilization, and interference mitigation.
• Recommend suitable access point placements, antenna types, and configurations based on environmental and user requirements.
• Document survey results, configuration changes, and recommendations for client and internal records.
• Stay current on wireless standards (Wi-Fi 6/6E/7) and emerging technologies.
• Support implementation of security protocols (WPA3, 802.1X, e...
