WOOD CRAFTER (INSTRUCTOR)

Summary About the position: This position is assigned to the Arts and Crafts facility of the 6th Force Support Squadron Community Service Flight, MacDill AFB, FL. Physical Effort: Works in tiring positions for prolonged periods. Work requires frequent standing, bending, stooping, crouching and arm movement. Frequently lifts and carries items weighing up to 45 pounds. Responsibilities Operates and maintains a woodworking shop for patron use. Equips shop with a variety of woodworking and wood crafting equipment. Maintains stock of wood, wood products, and other woodworking shop supplies to complete a variety of woodworking projects. Prepares shop budget. Prepares requests for supplies and equipment required for shop operation. Registers patrons, collects appropriate fees, and issues materials, tools, and equipment.
