The role:
Preparing, restoring and refinishing forklift trucks and material handling equipment

Carrying out filling, sanding, body shaping and surface preparation work

Completing minor welding, fabrication and structural repairs

Applying primers, undercoats and topcoats using spray equipment and traditional methods

Masking and protecting components prior to painting

Conducting quality inspections to ensure high standards are maintained

Working in line with COSHH regulations and health & safety procedures
The successful candidate:
Previous experience within commercial vehicle, plant machinery or industrial painting

Strong preparation and finishing skills

Basic welding and metal repair experience

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to work effectively within a workshop team
