Yard Supervisor (Fleet)

We are seeking a skilled Yard Supervisor to join our clients team in Gauteng. This role will oversee and coordinate all vehicle movements within a busy logistics hub. This role is critical in ensuring operational efficiency, enforcing strict safety protocols, and maintaining accurate digital records to support highvolume throughput.

Responsibilities

• Minimise truck turnaround time and ensure adherence to loading/offloading schedules
• Direct and control vehicle movements in and out of the yard, including staging and parking zones
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and yard organisation
• Ensure vehicles are prepared and trailers inspected according to SOP before loading
• Liaise with drivers, operations teams, and management to resolve issues quickly
• Manage weighbridge procedures, gate systems, and accurate documentation of vehicle movements
