Purpose:
The Young Canada Works Summer Public Program Assistant provides administrative, communication, and performance support for educational outreach projects under the direction of the Education and Community Engagement Coordinator, as part of the Youth Canada Workers in Heritage Organizations Program.

Education:
Undergraduate or graduate students from an arts-related field (art history, visual arts, museum studies, cultural studies, communications) or other related discipline.

Experience:
Previous gallery or music experience is an asset.

Skills:

-Ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Ability to demonstrate organizational skills to carry out a variety of tasks.
- Ability to foster a shared sense of community.
- Familiarity with the local neighborhood (Jane Finch) is an asset.
